{"id":1310,"date":"2015-12-12T19:10:49","date_gmt":"2015-12-13T03:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=1310"},"modified":"2015-12-26T22:15:46","modified_gmt":"2015-12-27T06:15:46","slug":"48-rainier-cherry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=1310","title":{"rendered":"#48 &#8211; Rainier Cherry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (8) 750ml and (21) 375ml (from 5 gallons) at 14% ABV on 12 December 2015.<\/p>\n<p>These cherries (and those from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=1316\">#49 Bing Cherry<\/a>) are from late in the 2014 season, which kept well in the freezer until I had time and to turn them into something tasty, and play with my new bladder press&#8230; \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>This one is bright, clear, and a nice light yellow color. \u00a0It has a nice cherry\/floral aroma, and has just enough sweetness on the tongue to bring out the Rainier cherry flavor without being too sweet\u00a0&#8212; perhaps\u00a0<em>halbtrocken<\/em>\u00a0would be the best to describe it. \u00a0Much more refined than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=258\">#26 Rainier Cherry<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (8) 750ml and (21) 375ml (from 5 gallons) at 14% ABV on 12 December 2015.
