{"id":204,"date":"2011-09-20T20:41:15","date_gmt":"2011-09-21T03:41:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=204"},"modified":"2014-03-04T18:34:28","modified_gmt":"2014-03-05T02:34:28","slug":"10-strawberry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=204","title":{"rendered":"#10 &#8211; Strawberry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (14) 750ml (from 3 gallons) at 15.5% ABV on 20 September 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Revisited a bottle set aside for 2013 on 30 December 2013&#8230; \u00a0I remember that this batch was somewhat of a disappointment, and that it tasted (for lack of a better word) &#8220;green&#8221;. \u00a0Perhaps the strawberries that I used weren&#8217;t quite ripe enough yet. \u00a0It doesn&#8217;t have as strong of a strawberry nose as the <a title=\"#1 \u2013 Strawberry\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=174\">first<\/a> or\u00a0<a title=\"#9 \u2013 Strawberry\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=201\">second<\/a>\u00a0strawberry does, and yes, it still tastes &#8220;green&#8221; with not-the-greatest aftertaste. \u00a0I think the remaining bottles of this will end up being donated to Science for experimentation&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (14) 750ml (from 3 gallons) at 15.5% ABV on 20 September 2011.
