(Black-\/Rasp-\/Blue-berry)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (24) 325ml and (12) 750ml (from 5 gallons) at 18% ABV on 31 March 2012.<\/p>\n<p>This co-fermented wine was a very nice surprise on several fronts.<\/p>\n<p>After allowing to ferment dry, I sweetened back to taste and waited about a week before bottling. \u00a0Although there was no indication of life during bottling, there was still some yeast still alive, and nearly every bottle I&#8217;ve opened so far has been frizzante! \u00a0As the bottles and corks I used were not made for sparkling wines, I&#8217;m very fortunate that it fermented in the bottle just enough for a light &#8220;pop&#8221; when opening and some very light bubbles in the glass &#8212; instead of blowing out the cork or breaking the bottle!<\/p>\n<p>Other nice surprises include the deep, clear, rich purple color, the nice berry nose, and a wonderful flavor &#8212; although it&#8217;s possible to discern between the blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry elements, they all work together quite well!<\/p>\n<p>Revisited the 2013 reserve bottle on 4 March 2014&#8230; \u00a0Cork still goes POP, flavors and aroma are still all there, and the bubbles are still having fun on the tongue! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (24) 325ml and (12) 750ml (from 5 gallons) at 18% ABV on 31 March 2012.
