{"id":237,"date":"2012-04-15T20:46:00","date_gmt":"2012-04-16T03:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=237"},"modified":"2014-03-08T14:23:23","modified_gmt":"2014-03-08T22:23:23","slug":"19-mango","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=237","title":{"rendered":"#19 &#8211; Mango"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (23) 325ml and (11) 750ml (from 5 gallons) at 18.25% ABV on 15 April 2012.<\/p>\n<p>After the high-octane results with my first <a title=\"#7 \u2013 Mango\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buchholz-cellars.org\/?p=198\">mango wine<\/a>\u00a0were running low, I decided to try again with something a bit more refined &#8212; even if it is still &#8220;up there&#8221; in alcohol content. \u00a0Instead of leaving bone-dry, I finished to taste which helps bring out the mango flavor with a just a hint of sweetness.<\/p>\n<p>Revisited the 2013 reserve bottle on 8 March 2014. \u00a0The wine is very clear, little-to-no sediment at all, and a bright yellow color. \u00a0Not much on the nose, but it&#8217;s a delight on the tongue &#8212; perhaps a bit similar to a riesling, but with a tropical twist!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bottled (23) 325ml and (11) 750ml (from 5 gallons) at 18.25% ABV on 15 April 2012.
